For a wedding shower, do you make the cake look like their wedding cake? These days it’s so hard to say since cakes take on so many shapes and versions. So for my step-sister in-law-to-be (or whatever our family is now) I made a cake that used their wedding colours, but added a bit of whimsy with hearts all over it. Kinda looks like a poker table - but I’m happy. And so was the bride to be! That’s all that really counts.

There’s nothing like seeing the look on the face of a 10 year girl when she opens the box and sees this! So many things I’d change about this cake - but the look on her face said it was all ok!
I think every cake decorator gets asked to do an iPhone cake. This is mine! So much fun doing this!!
